Building on the Blessing

Rockbridge Academy continues to thrive as an educational institution committed to building Christian character and challenging students to become life-long lovers of learning who pursue truth, goodness, and beauty in all their endeavors. We are blessed with a growing student body and dedicated faculty. With the blessing of growth we are reminded of the limits of our current space and the need for a permanent home for the school.

Rockbridge officially acquired a 144-acre property called Belvoir Scott’s Plantation on December 22, 2006 with the intent to build our permanent home at this site. We want to be able to educate Rockbridge students using the classical method in a building designed from the ground up to be safe, modern, and aesthetically beautiful and optimized to support our mission. But such a vision requires an investment of prayer, planning, and money to be realized.

While much has been done, funds are needed now for the continued planning and studies that are required before we can build. Significant investments are required in site design, engineering and professional consulting costs in order to move forward and develop a construction plan. Once we have an approved construction plan we will formally launch a campaign to fund the construction of the school.

We ask that you support Rockbridge Academy in meeting these necessary expenditures and consider the lasting benefit your tax-deductable gift would have on generations of children who will pass through the hallways, perform on the stage, and compete on the fields you helped provide. We are asking that you partner with us and invest your hard-earned assets to provide the necessary seed money for Rockbridge to have its own home.
